Forest Home Clinic
The Forest Home Medical and Dental Clinic was established by the United Methodist Church and Dr. Jim Flach in 2003. It is located about 15 minutes from Punta Gorda on the Southern Highway. It has 4 dental operatories and 3 medical exam rooms as well as waiting space for patients. Most trips will include some time at this clinic and it offers comfortable working conditions for teams and patients. It has a compressor, suction, and an autoclave as well as medical exam rooms and cautery for basic surgical procedures.
Isabel Palma Polyclinic - San Antonio, Belize
The San Antonio Polyclinic is a large facility in San Antonio, Belize. It has a single chair permanent dental operatory and ample space to setup a portable clinic. It has permanent medical exam rooms, an emergency ward and a pharmacy.
Crique Sarco
Crique Sarco is a remote village deep in the jungle west about 2 hours by car from Punta Gorda. Tejas has been visiting this village for over 30 years and enjoys the friendly Mayan Indians who welcome our team into their culture. A permanent health clinic is currently under construction in this village and Tejas Missions has a house in the village to house its team while visiting. Accommodations include some beds as well as hammocks.
